Breitling Superocean Heritage 42MM Automatic Diver's Watch COSC Certified

  

Condition is excellent and the COSC Certiified automatic movement is running perfectly at aprox +4 sec per day. On close inspection there are some very fine surface marks on the case but overall is clean and new looking. The black leather band is in good condition and only shows some discoloration on the under side due to the light color of the leather backing. Aluminum bezel and sapphire crystal appear scratch free. Dial appears to be between a matte and satin finish with a very fine sunburst pattern.

The dial can look completely black or grayish off black depending on the angle. I tried to show this in the last two pictures (there are some surface dust specks in the photos). The hands and applied markers are highly polished and can shine or "disappear" at different viewing angles. Time is always legible due to the light colored luminova on the hands. This watch is balanced with good wrist presence but without being overly large or bulky. I consider this a refined dive watch that combines some historical elements with contemporary build quality.
