The Panerai Luminor Submersible Diver's professional is a modern development of a model first created in 1950's, and is produced in accordance with Panerai tradition of reliability and quality. It is a professional watch of high technological standards tested to withstand a pressure of 30 atmospheres. All the components have been designed to take account of the professional activity for which it is intended and they conform to the standard of the Swiss watch industry. The case is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Resistance and reliability are ensured by a series of quality control operations carried out with sophisticated instruments.

The sapphire crystal is 5.1mm thick and made from corundum which is the hardest material after diamonds. It is free of impurities, completely transparent, virtually scratch proof and treated with anti-reflection coating.

The high quality exclusive Swiss automatic mechanical movement is the 13 1/4 ligne Panerai calibre OP lll. With a power reserve of over 42 hours, it has 21 jewels and a mono metallic Glucydur balance making 28.800 alternations per hour. The bridges and oscillating weight are personalized Panerai.

It has a chronometer certificate issued by' Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres'. The refinement of the materials, the use of antimagnetic alloys for all the most important components and the highly sophisticated manufacturing techniques guarantee the achievement of a high degree of reliability. Water Resistance : Regular servicing every two years or in case the watch has been opened. It basically involves replacing the seals so as to ensure the maximum water resistance and security.

Cleaning the exterior: It is recommended to wash the timepiece with soap and warm water, using a soft brush. After bathing in the sea or swimming pool, rinse with clean water.
