This Seiko 5 Automatic Two Tone Gold and Silver PVD Stainless Steel Mens Watch SNKE04K1 is a classic addition to the Seiko 5 family. A gold PVD stainless steel case surrounds the dial with hardened mineral glass sat on-top. A fixed golden bezel features 5 minute markers. Then, a two tone silver and gold PVD stainless steel strap can be fastened using a deployment clasp. The stylish white dial of the watch is complemented by golden hour markers and indices, which provide the watch with its eye-catching appeal.

Similarly, the day date window, which is situated at the 3 o'clock mark has a golden trim. The golden Seiko 5 logo is present beneath the 12 o'clock mark.

An exclusive 7S26 calibre 21 jewel automatic movement powers this timepiece. The automatic movement is made up of 21 jewels. This watch has a water resistance of 50 metres, making it suitable for surface swimming. The Seiko 5 family has set the standard in affordable, rugged and stylish watches since 1963.

They incorporate simplicity, but seriousness. The name of the Seiko 5 derives from its five key attributes, which Seiko promised to include in every watch that belonged to the family. They are: automatic winding, displaying the day and date in a single window, water resistance, a recessed crown at the 4 o'clock position and a durable metal bracelet. 1963 marked the year that the Seiko 5 acted as a catalyst in the horological revolution in automatic watchmaking. Even after being in the market for over 50 years, albeit the Seiko 5 still remains as cool and relevant as ever.

Though this serves as proof that expert craftsmanship and elegant design will never go out of fashion. Ceaseless determination to innovate in every aspect of the watchmaker's art is what defines Seiko's 135-year history.

By embracing this ethos, Seiko has been responsible for a string of industry-leading advances in the technology of time. Notably, the creation of the world's first quartz watch in 1969. Or equally impressive the creation of the world's first TV watch in 1982. And even more relevant today, with our abhorrent use of non-renewable energy sources, Seiko's Kinetic.

This watch had the ability to generate its own power from the movement of the wearer, it was released in 1988. The listed technological developments serve as evidence to illustrate the revolutionary impact which Seiko has had on the watchmaking world. They are also remarkably unique in that they manufacture every aspect of every watch in-house.

They even grow their own quartz crystals and sapphires, hence why Seiko are renowned for being watchmaking experts.
